About me
Hey! I'm Ethan Warrington, an Endpoint Systems Administrator in IT at Butler Community College in Andover, KS. I focus on endpoint management, device deployment, and asset utilization and inventory.
My day-to-day involves Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Jamf Pro, and PowerShell automation. I also manage Sassafras KeyServer/AllSight for asset management and software utilization tracking. Beyond that, I occasionally dabble in Proxmox virtualization and server administration.
Outside of work, I keep myself busy with a homelab where I can tinker and experiment without testing my ideas in prod! When I'm not breaking things on purpose, you can find me diving into video games or getting lost in a good Fantasy, Sci-Fi, or LitRPG book.
I'm new to MMS and looking forward to opportunities to connect with others in the endpoint management space, swap war stories, and bring back ideas I can actually use. If you're working on device management, software deployment, virtualization, or ITAM in higher ed (or just want to geek out about any of the above), I'd love to connect!
