Intune Without a Safety Net: How to Add Backup, Governance, and Automated Patching to Your Environment
Monday May 4, 2026 10:00am - 11:45am CDT
Intune is powerful but it ships without backups, approval workflows, audit trails, or automated patching. In this session, we'll show you how to close those gaps using Robopack and Tenant Manager. You'll leave knowing how to protect your Intune configuration from drift and accidental changes, automate your entire app packaging and patching pipeline, and give your support teams the right access without the risk.

Manual packaging, inconsistent patching, and zero rollback options are costing IT teams time they don't have. We'll walk through a modern, fully automated approach to endpoint management, covering Robopack's 40,000+ app library and wave-based patching, Tenant Manager's backup, drift detection, and approval workflows. Whether you're an enterprise admin or an MSP managing dozens of tenants, you'll walk away with a clear picture of what a safer, more automated endpoint stack looks like.

Cloudy with a Chance of Infrastructure
Tuesday May 5, 2026 3:00pm - 4:45pm CDT
Description:
When moving to the cloud, the ‘Re’s often get mentioned.  Re-home, Rebuild, Redesign, and Retire.  Unfortunately, the most common scenario is the famous “Lift and Shift” (or Re-home) where resources are simply relocated as-is using migration tools like Azure Migrate or other 3rd party solutions.  For some systems this is the only viable option, but it’s almost never the perfect option.  In this session, we focus on Redesign and evaluate how to take a legacy system and refactor it for cloud native offerings from the ground up.  We’ll start with the foundations: networking, landing zones, and gasp DNS.  We’ll work up from there discussing database, compute, containers, and security options.  We’ll also talk a little bit about BC/DR and dispel some common misconceptions about how failover in Azure really works.

What you will learn:
  • What Azure Services are the functional equivalents of legacy systems
  • When to choose one service over another
  • How not to have issues with DNS
  • How to recover from an outage or design a proper resilient system

Let’s Talk Patching: Automation Strategies That Actually Work
Wednesday May 6, 2026 10:00am - 11:45am CDT
Keeping endpoints patched is one of IT's most important and frustrating jobs. Vulnerabilities can be exploited in days, but most organizations take months to fix them. Without automation, keeping up is nearly impossible.

AJ Singh*, NinjaOne's VP of Field Product Management, will show you how to build a modern automated patch management system, reduce repetitive work, and extend automation into broader endpoint security workflows.

We'll close with a demo, and you’ll leave with ideas to keep your endpoints secure.
  • Build a patching operation that runs itself - learn how policy-based automation in NinjaOne handles OS and third-party patch deployment, approval workflows, and failure remediation with minimal manual intervention.
  • Automation compounds your team’s impact - discover how the same automation framework that powers patching can be extended to detect and remediate broader endpoint issues, giving one technician the ability to manage thousands of devices effectively.
  • See it live, take it home - walk away from the NinjaOne demo with concrete, ready-to-use automation strategies and an understanding of how to implement them in your own environment from day one.

*AJ Singh is the VP, Field Product Management at NinjaOne. With 20 years of experience in the IT space, AJ began his career as an engineer, before transitioning into managed services. At NinjaOne, AJ focuses on product management, business strategy, and integrations.
